for small business meetings.
Networking: Chamber events offer members the opportunity to meet fellow business professionals,
cultivate new clients and keep informed on the latest business happenings and activities.
Economic Development: Your Chamber helps new business and industry by various means and nurtures
the entrepreneurial spirit by helping new small businesses get off the ground.

- Add your firms name to two important publications that are distributed throughout our County and
outside our general trade area. The publications are The Shiawassee Visitors Guide and The Find
it Guide - which are printed annually.
- Add your firm to our Website
- Notify all our members electronically of your new membership, by creating an announcement flier that
meets with your approval
- Notify your local insurance company that you are now a member which qualifies you for a Durand
Chamber of Commerce Discount
- Invite you to bring in printed material on your business for distribution in our New Comer packets, large
event grab bags and for daily distribution in our Chamber Office.
- Start referrals immediately when inquiries come in
- Notify you of discounts with participating Tri-Alliance Members
- Promote and participate in a special ribbon cutting ceremony with your Grand Opening. Provide a
